She raised four kids during the Pop 50's, the psychedelic 60's and the Rock and Disco 70's. She survived, along with her children on that Magic Carpet Ride. During her later years, Peggy began and ended each day with phone in hand to ensure all was well with her loved ones.

Blakley and Mariar J. Cobb Blakley. She passed away peacefully on September 8, 2018 at the age of 92. Catherin was a devout Christian, a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Carol was employed for many years at St. Louis State Hospital in the accounting department and then retiring to a job at St. Louis' Operation Brightside, a local nonprofit that works to grow community green spaces. In addition, she spent many years volunteering at the Chatillon-Demenil Mansion before becoming a board member for the Bryan Mullanphy Trust. In recent years she enjoyed being a member of the Galveston Beta Club and Lafitte Society. Surviving are daughter Kimberly, sons Ted, Chris & Tom, her six grandchildren, her sister-in-law Mildred Stiverson of La Jolla, California, her cousin Harriet Awapara of Houston, Texas, and her puppy dog Dexter.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Capabilities, Inc., an organization supporting people with disabilities, founded by Jim's father, Wilfred Price, in 1955. Flo was born in Houston, TX and also lived in Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri & Florida. Richard proudly served in the Army during the Korean war and was a retired captain of the National Guard.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, sisters, Wanda June Petty, Norita Dosier, and Paulette Jones, and brothers, Charles and Tony Petty. Surviving siblings include sister, Marlene Carr and brothers, Darrell and Phillip and Kissy Petty. Peggy was blessed with nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren whom she adored. She believed that she lived a very full and adventurous life...and she did.
While raising her children, Page returned to school and earned her bachelor of arts degree at Sam Houston State University. She went on to teach art courses for the Conroe Independent School District for a number of years before eventually retiring. Page Freeman Wilhite, 67, passed away Sunday evening, August 4, 2019, following an extended illness.
