It’s one of the most fantastic entertainment experiences I’ve seen at sea. The atrium’s huge 3,000 square-foot glass panels built into the ship’s side provide guests with beautiful sea views. The shipbuilding order (Meyer Turku yard number / hull 1396) was placed on September 6, 2016. On November 15, 2018, was held the steel-cutting ceremony, which officially started the vessel's construction by the shipbuilder Meyer Werft (Turku Shipyard, Finland). The ship was launched (floated out from drydock) on January 24, 2020, and scheduled for delivery in October. One of my favorite things about sea days on a Carnival cruise ship is enjoying a relaxing Seaday Brunch. The free Seaday Brunch is held in Mardi Gras’ main dining room, and it was as great as ever. Young kids, ages 2 to 5, are going to have a blast with toys and arts and crafts. Older kids, ages 9 to 11, can chill at pool parties and go on scavenger hunts.
